DIRECTOR

Julius Arato is a practicing architect who has worked and lived in diverse countries including Kenya, Tanzania, and Seychelles. He migrated to Australia in 2003 where he worked for Mayoh Architects in Sydney until 2015 before starting Arqsys Architecture.

He has over 30 years experience working in educational, hospitality and residential projects.

Julius Arato has a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) degree from the University of Nairobi obtained in 1983. He is also a double Masters degree holder, having obtained a post-graduate Master of Applied Management (Architecture) degree from the University of Newcastle in 2004 and a Master of Property degree from the same University of Newcastle in 2018. He is registered to practice architecture in NSW.

He is a keen aviator and holds a Recreational Pilot Licence.
